                                      Board changes

Coburg Group plc ("Coburg"), the AIM listed tea and coffee company, announces
the appointment of an Non-Executive Director, Mr David Rodrick (Rory) Forrester
(aged 62)to the board. The appointment was effective from Wednesday 21 January 
2003.

In accordance with paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules the following
disclosures for Mr Forrester are enclosed:
