        DIC Entertainment ("DIC") Appoints Former Governor of California
                           as Non-Executive Director

DIC Entertainment Holdings Inc. (DEK.E) the AIM-listed global family
entertainment brand management company based in Los Angeles, announces the
appointment of Gray Davis, former Governor of California as a non-executive
director.

Gray Davis was Governor of California from 1998 to 2003. During his tenure
California enjoyed an economic boom, seeing massive commercial expansion that
resulted in the State growing to become the sixth largest economy in the world.

Mr. Davis currently serves on the Board of Directors for Source Interlink, a
leading marketing, merchandising and fulfillment company of entertainment
products (whose subsidiary AEC is one of DIC's home entertainment distributors).
He also sits on the Advisory Board for Roth Capital Partners, an investment bank
specialising in small and micro cap markets and holds Member Emeritus status
(formerly Co-Chairman) for the Council of Institutional Investors. A lawyer by
training he is currently Of Counsel for the Los Angeles law firm Loeb & Loeb.
Before being elected Governor of California he was State Controller, State
Assemblyman, Chief of Staff to Governor Edmund Brown and Lieutenant Governor.

Announcing his appointment, DIC Chairman and Chief Executive, Andy Heyward said,

Michael Jackson

President of Programming for Barry Diller's IAC/InterActiveCorp overseeing the
company's initiatives in the development, acquisition and distribution of
programming. Formerly Chief Executive of Channel Four Television, Controller of
BBC2 and BBC1 and then Director of Television at the BBC. Other senior media
positions held include Chairman of Universal Television Group and Chief
Executive of USA Entertainment.

Christopher McGurk

Chief Executive Officer of Overture Films, the new film studio (a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Starz, LLC, a division of Liberty Media), with offices in Los
Angeles and New York, engaged in the production, acquisition and worldwide
theatrical distribution of live action films. Formerly Vice Chairman and Chief
Operating Officer of MGM Inc up until its sale to investors including Sony
Corporation. Previously he had served as President and Chief Operating Office at
Universal Pictures and prior to this President of the Motion Picture Group at
Disney.

Simon Olswang

Formerly Chairman of Olswang, the specialist law firm serving the media and
related industries he founded. Mr. Olswang is also a co-founder of LongAcre
Partners Ltd, the specialist media and entertainment M&A advisory firm. He is
also on the Board of Directors of the British Library, the British Screen
Advisory Council and a former Governor of the British Film Institute.

Peter Strauss, Executive Vice President of Mandalay Pictures and Chairman of LG
Pictures, the Lion's Gate Entertainment investment vehicle. During his career he
has produced, executive produced and overseen production on a number of highly
successful films including Cabaret, Papillion, Buster and The Man Who Could be
King. Mr. Strauss is also a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and
Sciences.

Andy Heyward - Chairman and Chief Executive

Andy Heyward has been in the family programming business for 30 years, the last
20 of which have as CEO of the Group. After graduating from UCLA, he went to
work at Hanna-Barbera as an apprentice writer, and eventually story editor,
producer, and development executive. In 1980, Mr. Heyward joined DIC Audiovisuel
SARL where he prepared the French-based business to enter the U.S. market He
returned to the U.S. in 1982 where he co-created Inspector Gadget, DIC's first
cartoon. In 1986, Mr. Heyward led a group that bought DIC in a leveraged buyout.
Mr. Heyward has been cited with numerous industry recognitions including Emmy
Awards, ACE Awards, Humanitas and EMA Awards. He is active in numerous community
activities including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,
Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Mediascope, a watchdog media agency dedicated to
improving the quality of content

Jeffrey Edell - President and Chief Operating Officer

Before joining DIC in July 2006 he was Co-founder, President and Chief Executive
Officer of MFC (Vertcial Branding) Development Corporation, a publicly owned
direct response marketing and branding company focused on health, beauty,
fitness and home consumer products. Previously, he served as Chairman of
Intermix Media, Inc., the owner and operator of online businesses, including
MySpace, which was sold to News Corp for over $600 million in 2005.  Prior to
Intermix, Mr. Edell was President and CEO of Soundelux Entertainment Group, the
multi-Oscar winning independent provider of entertainment content and technology
to the entertainment industries., sold to Liberty Media in 2000. Mr. Edell holds
a CPA and a BS in Commerce and Accounting from the McIntyre School of Commerce
at the University of Virginia. He is a member of The Academy of Motion Picture
Arts & Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
