ECLECTIC INVESTMENT COMPANY PLC  ("the Company") 
 
 
?The Company announces that it has been notified by Ingot Capital Management Pty 
Limited ("Ingot"), the Company's investment manager, that Ingot has today 
purchased on-market 50,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 83p per 
share.  On 4 December 2009 the Company announced that it had been notified by 
Ingot that it had purchased 1,250,000 ordinary shares in the Company. That 
purchase was at a price of 93.35p per share. As a result of these transactions 
Ingot now holds a total 1,300,000 ordinary shares in the Company representing 
7.3% of the shares in issue.
