Resignation of Director 
 
The Directors of Global MENA Financial Assets Limited (the "Company"), a 
closed-ended investment company incorporated in Guernsey, today wish to announce 
an update in relation to the resignation of Omar El Quqa from the Board, as 
announced by the Company on 27 August 2009. 
At a Board meeting held on 30 August 2009, the Board resolved to accept Mr El 
Quqa's resignation with immediate effect. 
As announced on 27 August 2009, it is proposed that resolution 7 set out in the 
notice of the annual general meeting of the Company to be held at Arnold House, 
St. Julian's Avenue, St. Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 3NF, Channel Islands on 2 
September 2009 be withdrawn.
