ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2009 
RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Following the Annual General Meeting of the Company, which was held today, the 
Board is pleased to announce that all of the resolutions put to shareholders 
were passed, including four Special Resolutions which: 
 
 
 
 
i) will allow the disapplication of pre-emption rights on the allotment of new 
ordinary shares; 
 
ii) will allow the Company to make market purchases of up to 7,054,241 ordinary 
shares, representing 14.99% of the Companys issued share capital; 
 
iii) will allow the sale of ordinary shares previously held in Treasury, up to 
an aggregate nominal amount of GBP1,176,491, representing approximately 10% of 
the Companys issued share capital; and 
 
iv) will allow the disapplication of pre-emption rights on the sale of ordinary 
shares from Treasury. 
 
 
 
The special resolutions, which were passed at the Annual General Meeting, have 
been lodged with the UK Listing Authority. These will be available shortly 
through the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which can be found 
at The Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary 
Wharf, London E14 5HS.
