Spacelabs Healthcare Inc. (LSE: SLAB) ("Spacelabs" or the "Company"), an
international medical equipment company quoted on AIM, a market of the London
Stock Exchange, announces that it was informed on 27 November 2006 that on that
date Mr. Deepak Chopra, CEO, had bought 50,000 Common Shares of US$0.001 each at
an average price of 95 pence per share.

Following this purchase of shares, Mr. Deepak Chopra is the beneficial owner of
50,000 Common Shares, representing 0.07% of the Company's current issued share
capital.
