AS9100 is a strict and increasingly important international aerospace quality standard, and receipt of the certification endorses Merix' rigorous quality management system and processes.

The new AS9100 certification is the latest demonstration of Merix' commitment to the defense and aerospace market segment. Over the past 12 months, Merix has also obtained MIL-PRF-31032 certification for both of its North American facilities and subsequently increased the technology level covered by those certifications. The result of this focus and commitment to the defense and aerospace segment has been the addition of several new, large customers and a measurable market share increase.
