State below in reasonable detail why Forms 10-K, 20-F, 11-K, 10-Q, 10-D, N-CEN, N-CSR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period. (Attach extra sheets if needed.)

 

Broad Street Realty, Inc. (the “Company”) has determined that it is unable, without unreasonable effort or expense, to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the three months ended March 31, 2023 (the “Quarterly Report”) within the prescribed time period. On May 1, 2023, the Company engaged a new independent registered public accounting firm. As a result of the transition to a new independent registered public accounting firm and the delays related to the filing of the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2022, which was filed on May 1, 2023, the Company requires additional time to complete its procedures related to the Quarterly Report, and the new independent registered public accounting firm requires additional time to review the financial statements and related information included in the Quarterly Report.
