Alternate Marketing Networks Sets Annual Meeting Date Significant Reductions Made in Corporate Liabilities Associated with Former Subsidiary HUDSONVILLE, Mich., June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alternate Marketing Networks, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ALTM) has scheduled its annual meeting for August 4, 2004 in its new Hudsonville, Michigan office. As a result of the financial burden placed on the Company from the bankruptcy of its former subsidiary, Hencie, Inc., the Company does not currently plan to produce audited financial statements or an annual report for the shareholders or to solicit proxies for the meeting. Alternate Marketing Networks, Inc. became a non-reporting company pursuant to a Form 15 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission effective January 2, 2004. In addition, the Company reports that it has successfully negotiated significant reductions or resolutions in liabilities and guarantees, including a guarantee with Accord Financial and TrizecHahn Tower Three Galleria Management, associated with the voluntary bankruptcy under Chapter 7 of its former subsidiary, Hencie, Inc. As part of this resolution process, the Company needed to raise capital and therefore divested its logistics and distribution subsidiary, Alternate Postal Direct, Inc. to two executives, led by the Company's CFO, Sandra Smith and now operates independently as a women-owned business enterprise. The Company's sole remaining subsidiary is National Home Delivery, Inc. d.b.a. U.S. Suburban Press (USSPI). This subsidiary has experienced recent growth in part due to a new print advertising placement program in the automotive industry. Alternate Marketing Networks, Inc. continues to provide print media solutions to national advertisers in the United States. DATASOURCE: Alternate Marketing Networks, Inc.
