Appointment of Tatton Asset Management Limited ("Tatton") as Investment Manager to the core and passive products of Ascencia Investment Management ("Ascencia")

Frenkel Topping (AIM: FEN), the specialist independent financial advisor and asset manager focused on asset protection for vulnerable clients, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tatton as investment manager for Ascencia, the Company's discretionary fund manager. Tatton will manage Ascencia's core and passive products only and the agreement is for an initial three years. Tatton is the investment management firm of Tatton Asset Management plc (AIM: TAM).

As previously announced at the Company's final results on 10 April, Ascencia is performing well and AUM has grown to GBP320m as at the end of Q1 2019. The appointment of Tatton is part of the Company's strategy to expand its asset management capabilities and this, together with Wellian Investment Solutions Limited as its portfolio research partner will enable the management team to further scale the business and offer a broader range of products.
