Heiton Group plc - Board Appointment


Heiton Group plc, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Eddie Kelly, who
has been Managing Director of the Merchanting Division for the past two years,
to the Board with effect from today (July 3rd 2003).

Mr. Eddie Kelly has worked with Heiton Group plc for a number of years and is
past president of The Irish Hardware and Building Materials Association.
