Aram Resources announces that the resolutions proposed at today's
Extraordinary General Meeting, to approve inter alia the acquisition of
Tregunnon Quarry Limited, have been passed.

Completion of the acquisition is expected to take place on 30 March 1999.

Dealings in the 450,000 new ordinary shares issued pursuant to the acquisition
agreement are expected to commence on 31 March 1999.
