Bede plc (the 'Company') today announces that options over ordinary shares of 2p
in the Company ('Share Options') were granted yesterday under the terms of the
Company's EMI Share Option Scheme at an exercise price of 5.125 pence per share
to the following board member ('Director').

Following the award of these Share Options, the above named Director holds
