                   Biotrace International Plc (the "Company")

                             Notification of Shares


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority ("UKLA") and the London
Stock Exchange for the listing of 387,478 ordinary shares of 10p each fully paid
("Ordinary Shares"), to trade on the London Stock Exchange and be admitted to
the Official List of the UKLA. It is expected that admission of these Ordinary
Shares will become effective on 22 September 2005. These Ordinary Shares will
rank pari passu with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.

These Ordinary Shares are to be issued in connection with the acquisitions
referred to in the company's interim results statement released on 7 September
2005.
