    Cancellation of options

    Energem Resources Inc. (the "Company") announces that, on 2 June 2008, the directors of the Company noted below voluntarily cancelled
options to acquire common shares in the Company.

    Each option to acquire a single common share in the Company was granted to the relevant director on 1 March 2004 and was exercisable at
a strike price of Cdn$ 3.25 per common share and could have been exercised at any time up to 28 February 2009.
