Suspension of Shares to Trading on AIM 
 
 
Energem (AIM:ENM), announces today that it is awaiting the final agreement of 
the accounts with its auditors.  As a consequence, the Company will not be in a 
position to publish its audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2008 by 
30 June 2009. Accordingly, the Company confirms that it will not be able to 
comply with Rule 19 of the AIM Rules for Companies requiring an AIM company to 
send its annual accounts to shareholders not later than six months after the end 
of the financial year to which they relate and as a result will be immediately 
suspended from trading on AIM. 
 
 
The Directors anticipate that the audited report and accounts will be published 
by the middle of July at which point the Company's shares will begin trading on 
AIM again.
