Board Changes 
 
 
The Board of Jarvis plc, ("Jarvis" or the "Group") today announces that Graham 
Denton, currently Finance Director of Jarvis Rail, is to be appointed to the 
position of Group Finance Director with effect from 1 November 2009, and will 
also join the Board as an executive director of Jarvis at that time. Following 
three years as Group Finance Director, John O'Kane will leave the Group and 
cease to be an executive director of Jarvis on 31 October 2009 in order to take 
up a similar position at Redhall Group plc. 
 
 
Graham has been with the Group since 2006. Prior to his current role he was 
Finance Director of Jarvis Accommodation Services, where he was an integral part 
of the team responsible for its successful turnaround. Before joining Jarvis 
Graham worked in senior positions at BAA, Vivendi Energy Services UK, Grand 
Metropolitan plc (now Diageo plc) and Nabisco. 
 
 
Jarvis plc Chief Executive Stuart Laird said: "All of us at Jarvis would like to 
thank John for his achievements and the enormous professionalism and commitment 
he has shown to Jarvis through what has been a tough period for the Group. He 
leaves us with our very best wishes for the future."

financial and commercial understanding of the business and has been instrumental

There is no further information to disclose under either LR 9.6.11 R or LR 
9.6.13 R. 
 
 
Jarvis is now in a close period from today and intends to publish its half 
yearly report on 26 November 2009.
