Non-Executive Board Appointment 
 
 
Vantis, the accounting, tax and business recovery group, is pleased to announce 
yesterday's appointment of Mr David Potter as non-executive director to the plc 
Board with immediate effect. 
 
 
Mr Potter (aged 64) brings to the role many years of experience of corporate 
governance and management. 
 
 
He is the former Deputy Chairman of Investec Bank UK, having been CEO of 
Guinness Mahon Group prior to its acquisition by Investec. David has also served 
as managing director of Global Corporate Banking at Midland Bank (now HSBC) and 
is a former managing director of Credit Suisse First Boston. 
 
 
Mr Potter's current roles include being non-executive Chairman of Camco 
International and Quercus Publishing, and a non-executive director at Guinness 
Flight VCT, Solar Integrated Technologies, SPARK Ventures PLC and Noble Group. 
 
 
His other interests include being Chairman of the National Film & Television 
School Foundation, a member of the Council of the Centre for the Study of 
Financial Innovation, Trustee for both Worldwide Volunteering for Young People 
and the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund UK, as well as being on the Investment 
Committee and a Fellow of King's College London. 
 
 
Commenting on Mr Potter's appointment, Paul Jackson, Chief Executive of Vantis,

He becomes the fourth non-executive on the Vantis plc Board, joining chairman 
Paul Gourmand, and non-executive directors Ken Dulieu and Graham Cole. 
 
 
Save as disclosed below, there is nothing further to disclose in relation to the 
appointment of David Roger William Potter under Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of 
the AIM rules.
