J. W. Mays, Inc. issued a press release on June 11, 2008, reporting its financial results for the three and nine months ended April 30, 2008. The press release reported revenues for the three and nine-month periods ended April 30, 2008, and net income for the three-month period and net (loss) for the nine-month period ended April 30, 2008, and provided a comparison for revenues and net income (loss) to the three and nine-month periods ended April 30, 2007.

REPORTS ON OPERATIONS
FOR THE THREE AND NINE MONTHS ENDED April 30, 2008

J. W. Mays, Inc. today reported its financial results for the three and nine months ended April 30, 2008.

Revenues for the three months ended April 30, 2008 were $3,488,774 compared to revenues of $3,476,288, in the comparable 2007 three month period, while revenues for the current nine months were $10,701,425 compared to revenues of $10,183,549 in the comparable 2007 nine months.

Net income for the three months ended April 30, 2008 was $66,797, or $.03 per share, compared to net income of $18,430, or $.01 per share, in the comparable 2007 three month period.

Net loss for the nine months ended April 30, 2008 was ($214,021), or ($.11) per share, compared to net loss of ($168,230), or ($.08) per share, in the comparable nine month period.
