China Hydroelectric Corporation Appoints Compensation Committee and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee Members

On September 5, 2013, the board of directors (the “Board”) of China Hydroelectric Corporation (the “Company”) appointed Mr. Allard Nooy, a non-executive independent director of the Company, as a member of the Company’s Compensation Committee and a member of the Company’s Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.  At the same time, the Board accepted Mr. Amit Gupta’s resignation from the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.
