Looks like Im responding to my own posts here but anyways the merger went through and the stock is up to almost $60 per share again.

AMCOL-- I wonder what this means for the share price. After all, its all about the investors realizing gains, right?

Yeah, you could be right. I agree its totally mis-managed. Completely top heavy! The regular guys are the ones that keep the company going , then they screw you over any chance they can get. We are totally understaffed where I work, there should be at least 2 more employees there. The only reason I stick around is because nothing pays as well where I life. I sure dont stick around for how the company treats me, by making me be on-call during the night all the time and then turning around and working the whole next day on hardly any sleep! For a company that claims they are so SAFE, thats hardly a safe practice. Many times Ive thought it has to be illegal on some level. Somebody will get hurt eventually!

I also work for this company did the same as you pre split and got out at 50 there is no way this stock should be above $40. The company is mismananaged and not willing to put any cash back into the business just look at what they did to Alcoa while they where all there it took Alcoa 5 to 7 years to get above water again. I think we will be next, they will steal all our cash and move on.BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR 401K.

I work for this company. The just did a forward split a few months ago and now plan on buying back shares for the market in the next 2 years! Only going up to $70 or $80 per share again. I rolled a bunch of my 401k plan into the company stock ( I know, against the rules lol!) in anticipation of this.

you should read website, they had gov. grants aproved, banks completed due diigence, then global credit crises, set them back, it could start anytime IMO, all patents in place.
