FIRST ARTIST CORPORATION PLC LAUNCHES SNOOKER MANAGEMENT COMPANY
                       ("First Artist" or the "Company")

World Professional Champion and Junior World Champion
                                 are first signing

First Artist Corporation plc (LSE: FAN), the leading global football management
and representation company, is pleased to announce the launch of a subsidiary
snooker management company, First Artist Snooker Management Limited.

The new company will offer global management of some of the world's top snooker
players, as well as represent and encourage the development of talented junior
players. Peter Ebdon, the World Professional Champion and Ding Junhui, the
World Junior Champion have already been signed and will be managed by Keith
Warren, who has been involved in snooker management for fourteen years and will
become a Director of First Artist Snooker Management.

The launch of First Artist Snooker Management is another significant step for
First Artist Corporation, which is continuing to implement its strategy of
diversification, by leveraging core representation skills into non-football
areas.

Whilst the snooker season runs from the beginning of September until the end of
May, First Artist is able to earn a continuous revenue stream from snooker
activities throughout the year. Revenue is derived from the earnings of the
client roster, which includes income they earn from players' tournaments, as
well as from appearances and sponsorship deals. The Board believes that the new
company will become profitable during the first year of trading.

"We are extremely enthusiastic about the new company and its prospects," said
Keith Warren, Director of First Artist Snooker Management. "The snooker
industry is in transitional stage and presents an exciting opportunity. We
intend to take advantage of the growing interest in this developing industry.
We have already signed Peter, who is one of the world's leading players and
current world champion, as well as Ding Junhui, the Under 21 World Champion,
arguably the game's most promising new star. Furthermore, we are aiming to sign
some of the game's top players over the next few months."

Jon Smith, Chief Executive of First Artist Corporation commented, "We taking
steps to become less dependent on the traditional deal based revenue stream and
while we remain confident of the viability of the football sector, the launch of
First Artist Snooker Management confirms our commitment to expanding the
business into non-football sectors, thereby becoming more resilient to the
current downturn in the football market. The new company is well positioned to
grow organically and will substantially widen the scope of First Artist's
offering."

Peter Ebdon commented, "I am delighted to be associated with First Artist and I
am very confident that within a short time it will become a most professional
and successful snooker management company."
