ST. LOUIS, March 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines
today issued the following statement regarding RegionsAir: One of
three AmericanConnection carriers, RegionsAir, has canceled flights
between nine Midwestern cities and American's Lambert - St. Louis
International Airport hub through March 31 in order to resolve FAA
issues with its Line Check Airman Certification and Training
program. American Airlines reservations agents will rebook
passengers without penalty whose flights have been cancelled or
offer full refunds for the portion of their travel affected by the
cancellations. American regrets the passenger inconvenience these
cancellations will cause. RegionsAir of Smyrna, Tennessee operates
27 roundtrip turboprop flights from Lambert. RegionsAir is the
operator of 19-seat BAE Jetstream 32s to Burlington, Iowa; Decatur,
Marion, Springfield and Quincy, Ill; Ft. Leonard Wood and Cape
