The company signed a record number of new customers in the first half of 2024, more than doubling its customer base over the past year, and continued to grow its footprint with existing customers. Thanks to the continued strong uptake of Bridger solutions from industry innovators, the company has now detected over eight million emission events in the US and Canada in support of the oil and gas industry’s efforts to mitigate methane emissions. The company attributes this continued growth to its patented methane imaging technology driving significant impact in day-to-day customer operations. Additionally, the technology enables customers to achieve and prove corporate sustainability goals by providing the most comprehensive and accurate measurement-based methane emissions inventories available.

Bridger reports that its twenty largest customers have achieved an average of 18% year-on-year emissions reductions since 2022.* That same industry cohort has accomplished a 43% reduction in super-emitter occurrences over that same period.** “Our average large client has already achieved, through voluntary efforts and in just two years, more than the 30% reductions targeted for the end of this decade by the Global Methane Pledge. That success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the oil and gas industry to confront this challenge head-on, and the effectiveness of our data and analytics to support them,” stated Bridger’s CEO Pete Roos.

Established as an industry frontrunner, the organization recently added two seasoned executives to its leadership team to support continued growth and expansion, and to help scale the business, both domestically and internationally.

Joel Baller, a seasoned software and start-up executive, joined the company as the Chief Revenue Officer. His depth of experience in building and executing go-to-market strategies for rapidly expanding businesses will be leveraged as the company continues to scale operations in the US and abroad.

Nate Gorence, who recently served as the Chief of Staff and Chief Business Development Officer at Impossible Foods, brings a wealth of experience scaling start-ups focused on developing climate technology solutions. Nate joins Bridger as its Chief Business Officer, focusing on company operations, finance, and corporate strategy. “I’m thrilled to join Bridger at such an exciting time in the company’s growth trajectory. The company’s market expansion, underpinned by the technology they have developed, and fueled by the passion and mission of the team, is inspiring. I look forward to helping make 2024 Bridger’s best year yet, and helping the organization scale for years of continued growth,” stated Gorence.

“I am incredibly proud of the team we continue to assemble, both in terms of talent and ethics. As we expand our product offerings, customers, and geographic reach—all focused on our core mission to make emissions reductions simple—Bridger is having a global impact,” added Roos.
