IBM Raises Quarterly Dividend by 3% to $1.62

International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) on Tuesday said its
board raised the quarterly dividend by 3%, to $1.62, from
$1.57.
The new payout, equal to $6.48 a year, represents an annual
yield of about 4.66% based on Monday's closing price of $139.05, up
from about 4.52%.
The Armonk, N.Y., computing giant said the increased dividend is
payable June 10 to shareholders of record May 10.
IBM said it has raised its dividend for 24 consecutive years.
The company last year raised the payout by 4.7%.
