HEITON GROUP PLC has to-day issued 40,000 new Ordinary Shares of Euro0.32 each in
the Capital of the Company, in connection with its Executive Share Option
Scheme.  Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the UK
Listing Authority for these shares to be admitted to the Official List of the
Irish Stock Exchange and to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to
the London Stock Exchange for such shares to be admitted to trading.  The shares
rank pari passu in all respects with existing Ordinary Shares.

Copies of this announcement are available from the Registered Office of the
Company for fourteen days from the same date.
