                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 20,000 of its own shares for NOK 168.81
per share.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 221,850 of its own
shares, being 149,550 A-shares and 72,300 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 59,473,206.
