Further to the announcement of 17 August 2012, Henderson Group plc ('the Group') today announces that the UK Financial Services Authority have confirmed the appointment of Sarah Arkle as a Non-Executive Director to the Group Board, effective from 5 September 2012. Ms Arkle will stand for election at the 2013 Annual General Meeting.
