              RESULT OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING 15 JUNE 2007

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Resources Investment Trust plc was held at
10:00 am today.

All the Resolutions, (1) authorising the tender offer; (2) cancelling the share
premium account, and (3) changing the Articles to extend the calling of an EGM
to 31 March 2008, were passed.
