Venteco achieves first sales into Africa
Venteco plc, the UK-based non-toxic pest control provider, is pleased to
announce it has signed an agreement with Butes Trading Limited to distribute its
Cryonite technology in Nigeria.
Butes has agreed an initial deal with Venteco for the lease and supply of 20
Cryonite units, with an additional option to take further units in minimum
quantities of five units. The deployment of Cryonite units in Nigeria represents
the Company's first trading on the African continent, following the successful
launch of the technology in the Europe, North America, Italy and Australia.
In parallel Venteco can also announce that it has appointed a sales agent in
South Africa and a distributor in Greece.
Commenting on the deal, Stefan Hansson, chief executive of Venteco, said: "This
is an exciting development for Venteco. This agreement highlights the fact that
Cryonite is now being seen as an alternative, cost-effective and
environmentally-friendly method of pest control across the globe."
Mr Tanvier Malik, Head of Whitehall-based Beaufort Group, which has created a
special purpose vehicle in Butes Trading Limited in order to launch Cryonite in
the Nigerian market, noted: "Cryonite technology provides an excellent
environmentally-friendly pest control solution for Africa."

following a new issue of some GBP 3.1m. Its main operating businesses are
Silvandersson, the leading manufacturer of glue traps and CTS Technologies,
a specialist in non-poisonous pest control which uses the patented Cryonite
technology to kill all life stages of insects in a poison-free and
environmentally friendly manner. The technology involves the use of carbon
dioxide gas which is sprayed as a snow produced by a special nozzle thereby
achieving rapid cooling. The premises do not need to be evacuated and production
of foodstuffs can continue during sanitations, thereby making the method
cost-effective as well as environmentally-friendly.
