Works International appointed sales agent to 'Man on Wire'

The Works Media Group plc is pleased to announce that The Works International,
the Group's international sales house, has been appointed international sales
agent for James Marsh's documentary MAN ON WIRE, the dramatic re-telling of
Philippe Petit's daring scheme to walk a high wire between the buildings of the
Twin Towers.

Inspired by Petit's book 'To Reach the Clouds', the documentary combines archive
material with modern day interviews, stills and reconstructions, telling the
story of Petit and his accomplices, and the execution of their intricate plan to
break into the nearly finished World Trade Centre towers in 1974. Currently in
post-production, the film will premiere in the World Cinema Documentary
Competition at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008.

Director James Marsh won international acclaim for his first theatrical
documentary Wisconsin Death Trip which won him his second BAFTA and RTS Best
Documentary prize, as well as appearing at the Telluride, Venice and San
Sebastian Film Festivals. His first dramatic feature The King, starring Gael
Garcia Bernal and William Hurt, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2005.

Joy Wong of The Works International said, "Both a thrilling suspense story and a
fascinating documentary, James has succeeded in creating an extraordinary
portrait of this very special moment in history."

Producer Simon Chinn said, "This is one of those iconic stories which has
recently passed into folklore but hasn't fully been told on screen until now.
In James Marsh's hands it has been brought to life, with both poignancy and high
drama, for a contemporary audience.'

Norman Humphrey, CEO of The Works added, "We're delighted to have picked up such
an original piece. We expect international interest in the film and are happy to
have what we believe to be another winner in our portfolio."
