Brooktrout's Intelligent Fax Boards Now Supported by Optika's Acorde Software NEEDHAM, Mass., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Brooktrout Technology, the worldwide market leader of intelligent fax boards, today announced that it has partnered with Optika Inc. to provide support for Brooktrout's fax boards on Optika's Acorde(TM) family of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software solutions. Working to Optika's specifications, Brooktrout developed the code necessary for the integration. This allowed Optika's technical staff to focus their efforts on their own application development, rather than on the port, which happened in the background and helped Optika get to market faster with a Brooktrout-supported solution. After the integration was completed, Brooktrout delivered the finished, tested code to Optika and provided the necessary onsite training to allow them to take over management of the code as part of their standard product line.
