Tata Motors Ltd. (500570.BY) said that its unit Jaguar Land Rover Automotive PLC will be suspending production at all of its U.K. manufacturing plants for one week starting Nov. 4.

The decision was taken to reflect a need to adjust production in the face of ongoing uncertainties in the global economy, including Brexit, that have impacted the company's sales volumes, Tata Motors said Tuesday.

Jaguar Land Rover is Britain's largest automotive manufacturer, which has three vehicle-manufacturing facilities and an engine-manufacturing center. According to the latest data, total sales of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles fell 6.7% on year in August to 34,176 units.
