         First Artist Corporation plc ("First Artist" or the "Company")

                            Director's Shareholding

The Company was informed on 2 April 2003 that Jon Smith, Chief Executive, had
sold 175,000 ordinary shares of 0.25p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company on
2 April 2003 at a price of 4.5p per share.

In addition, the Company was also informed on 2 April 2003 that Mrs Janine
Smith, wife of Jon Smith, had purchased 175,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company
on 2 April 2003 at a price of 4.52p per share.

Following these transactions, Jon Smith's beneficial interest in the Ordinary
Share capital of the Company is unchanged at 11,383,643 Ordinary Shares,
representing 21.1 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
