                             Directors Shareholding



Glotel Plc ("The Company") announces that on 20th August 2003 it granted options
over the ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company to certain directors as
set out below.

Alan Saffer                                                               70,000


44,776 of Alan Saffer's options were granted under Part A of The Glotel Plc
Company Share Option Plan while the remainder and all of those to Sean Cheek
were granted under Part B of the Plan. All of the options granted are subject to
performance criteria and are exercisable between 20th August 2006 and 20th
August 2013 at a price of 67 pence per share.


The total options now held by Sean Cheek and Alan Saffer are as follows:
