Dow Corning CEO Supports U.S. Expansion of Alternative Energy Manufacturing Tax Credits

MIDLAND, Mich., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dow Corning
chairman, president and CEO Dr. Stephanie A. Burns commended
today's proposal by the White House to provide another $5 billion
in tax credits for manufacturers of wind, solar, and other
renewable energy-related products through the Advanced Energy

program was over-subscribed, and that the additional money could go

have announced investments of more than $5 billion to research and
