the Lipper Awards The Lipper Fund Awards are awarded to funds in 21
countries in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Lipper designates
award-winning funds in most individual classifications for the
three-, five-, and ten-year periods. In addition, the Lipper Fund
Awards program spotlights fund families with high average scores
for all funds within a particular asset class or overall. Lipper
Leader scores are derived from highly sophisticated formulas that
analyze funds against clearly defined criteria. Funds are compared
to similar funds, and only those that truly stand out are awarded
Lipper Leader status. Funds are ranked against their peers on each
five measures: Total Return, Consistent Return, Preservation, Tax
Efficiency, and Expense. Source: Lipper Stock fund values fluctuate
