Rusoro Mining Ltd. Appoints Corey Allen as COO

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr. Corey Allen to the position of Chief Operating
Officer effective immediately. Mr. Allen brings many years of
operational expertise in the mining industry to the Company's
executive management team.
Mr. Allen has previously held several senior management
positions in the industry, most recently as Mill and Metallurgical
Operations Manager overseeing the engineering and project
development for a world class copper-gold porphyry deposit in
Ecuador. He also brings direct experience in Venezuela as he was
formerly the Project and Production Manager for Gold Reserve Corp.
in the country. Mr. Allen is fluent in Spanish and has over 25
years of experience directing mine and metallurgical operations on
several major development projects in North America, Mexico and
central and South America.

About Rusoro
Rusoro Mining Ltd. is an advanced junior gold producer focused
in Bolivar State, Venezuela. The Company is scheduled to produce in
excess of 120,000 oz of gold in 2008. This gold production is
supported by measured and indicated resources (including reserves)
for all projects of 84.0 Mt grading 2.5 g/t Au containing 6.63 Moz,
and total inferred resources of 108.2 Mt grading 1.8 g/t Au
containing 6.22 Moz of gold. In addition, management is
aggressively working to significantly increase gold production at
the Choco 10 mine over the next 12 to 36 months.
