EDP Renovaveis SA said Wednesday that earnings and revenue rose in the first nine months of the year, mainly driven by higher average selling prices and increased generation.

The Portuguese renewable-energy company said net profit came in at 416 million euros ($414.6 million), up from EUR148 million in the same period a year earlier.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased to EUR1.48 billion from EUR917 million, while earnings before interest and taxes lifted to EUR963 million from EUR472 million.

Revenue rose to EUR1.74 billion from EUR1.19 billion.
