IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 7, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Hop-on, Inc. (Pink Sheets: HPNN) announced today that the company is pleased about the Appeals Court ruling that the Food and Drug Administration cannot regulate electronic cigarette products under the drug/device provisions of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (according to Bloomberg Businessweek).

The FDA appeals began in February 2010 when Federal Judge Leon ruled that the FDA could not interfere with the importation of electric cigarettes. The conclusion: the FDA will still not be authorized to block importation, however, will be looking into the marketing, safety and substances of the products and industry as a whole.

Samuel Demissie, President of Hop-on, Inc.: "We are thrilled with the results of today's court ruling. After 10 months of anticipation, it is time for the electronic cigarette industry to expand and make a larger impact on the market. We plan on to continue with FDA compliance and approval and have an aggressive finish for 2010."
