IDO Security Inc. (OTCBB: IDOI) developer of the innovative MagShoe™ shoe scanning device (SSD), today announced that the Company has completed the sale and supply of MagShoe 3G series systems for installation in Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport and other commercial airports throughout Azerbaijan by the Aviation Security Department of the Azerbaijan Airport Authority.

This is the Company’s largest order year to date, a follow on from the installation of the M100 series of the MagShoe in 2004 in Azerbaijan, which are still being used today. Azerbaijan is the largest country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia and the Company and its local partner, Askon AZ Group, have already received serious inquiries from various official authorities in neighboring countries.

The order included both MagShoe 3G/4 and MagShoe 3G/2 units, which demonstrates the versatility of the MagShoe system in answering the need for different security requirements. The MagShoe 3G/2 units are usually used for staff checkpoints, while passenger checkpoints require a testing regime which best suits the capabilities of the MagShoe 3G/4.

Security official of Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Mr. Alim Kasimov commented, "We have been using the MagShoe for several years now and it has become an important part of the security procedure. The MagShoe is very helpful speeding up the screening process as passengers do not need to take off their shoes. With the new generation MagShoe models available, we will now have MagShoes installed at all gates of the airport and the new terminal.”

Dani Werber, VP of International Sales for IDO Security remarked, “The fact that all commercial airports in Azerbaijan will now be equipped with multiple MagShoe systems provides momentum for wider penetration throughout the whole Central Asian region. Our collaboration with Askon AZ Group, that has a proven track record in providing security equipment for transportation hubs, border control and other HLS venues, will enable us to gain a significant foothold in this part of the world.”

Mr. Nazim Agamaliev, President of Askon AZ Group commented, “We are very happy to cooperate with IDO Security in marketing the MagShoe in Central Asia. We believe that the high technology of the new generation MagShoe was a significant factor in convincing the Azerbaijan Airport Authority to place their order and we believe that additional aviation authorities surrounding the region will soon follow with orders of several units themselves.”
