MBVA Millennium Bankshares Corporation (CE)

Millennium Bankshares Corporation announced today that the Board of Directors has officially named John F. (�Jack�) Novak as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation. Mr. Novak is no longer serving in the interim capacity.

Grayson P. Hanes, Chairman of the Board, commented, �The Board has great confidence in Jack based on his experience and recent actions that reflect well on the future of the Bank.�

Additionally, William C. O'Connor and Marcus J. Perry have joined Millennium Bank as Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer, respectively. Mr. Novak commented, �Bill and Marcus are exactly the type of leaders the Bank has been seeking. Not only do they have the skill set necessary to lead us into the future, but their customer orientation is in perfect alignment with the new direction the Bank is pursuing. Needless to say, we're thrilled to have them on board.�

Mr. O'Connor comes most recently from Provident Bank where he was Senior Vice President and Credit Officer; while Mr. Perry joins Millennium from The Business Bank where he served as Executive Vice President. Combined, the two bring a wealth of credit and lending knowledge with more than 45 years banking experience.
