NS8 Corporation (OTCBB:NSEO) announces that it has entered into a
memorandum of understanding with Global Business Center, Inc. to
develop an iWave(TM) based interactive service for its division,
GBC Blue, the leader in managed guest computing and interactive
services for the hospitality industry in the United States.
Currently, GBC Blue supplies Dell PCs and has deployments with
major hotel chains and resort properties that act as the "office
away from the office" or the "home away from home." NS8(TM) and GBC
Blue are exploring the development of interactive services to
enable guests to request, control and purchase additional amenities
including: room service, hotel media services, restaurant
reservations, and recommendations of nearby attractions. The
objective is to provide hotels and resorts with a highly effective
method of merchandising their services and adding value to the
experience of their guests. "In the later part of 2005, we intend
to enhance our current service offering to providing each guest
with a totally unique and convenient 'guest services' experience",
says Cliff Monlux, Chief Executive Officer of GBC Blue. "Not only
does NS8(TM) offer a very appealing and flexible architecture that
can deliver a powerful consumer experience to both Internet and
closed-network environments, but NS8-iWave(TM) will certainly have
the capability of managing those services for us at significantly
lower costs than what others could provide." "Teaming with industry
leaders like GBC Blue makes perfect sense for NS8. GBC Blue's
technology platform has the ability to deliver localized and
personalized content while remotely manage and update systems takes
a huge burden off the property and creates an open door to the
delivery of new services," says Anthony Alda, Chairman and CEO of
NS8. "We take advantage of the convergence of technology; remotely
managed multi-media PCs, HDTV, and controlled content delivery.
Hotels now have their eye on deploying all these technologies.
Together GBC Blue and NS8(TM) deliver a way of leveraging existing
technology while expanding the possibilities for the hotels and
their guests." GBC Blue has been working closely with a number of
four and five star hotels to better understand how it can best
apply technology to their needs. GBC Blue believes that the hotel
of tomorrow will be able to offer the broad spectrum of additional
services that people are looking for, and the hotel should realize
greater revenue every time a room is occupied. "When our systems
are available "in-room" they get used at a very high rate, many
times greater than the conventional broadband utilization," says
Monlux. "Travelers are becoming comfortable with technology, and
the top tier hotels are looking for ways to interact with their
guests - we believe the timing is right to introduce the next level
of guest services and NS8(TM) will help us achieve the total
customer experience." About NS8 Corporation NS8 Corporation
