BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Reality Racing, Inc. (Trading OTC Pink Sheets: RRGI) President Lee F. Schaefer announced today that the company is pushing up its production schedule by a full month following the successful contestant search event and host audition held November 26, 2006 at Los Angeles' historic Greenway Theater. Contestant finalists selected for the first season of Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge can expect notification regarding the date and location of their final audition, before the judging panel, within days. Reality Racing, Inc. President Lee F. Schaefer said, "We are thrilled to be moving forward with an accelerated production schedule in light of our company's increasing momentum toward finalizing a contract with our future network home. An announcement regarding the details of our network agreement will be disclosed via public newswire as soon as the ink is dry on the contract; hopefully within the next day or two. Pre-production for the show has already started and has been going very well. In a nutshell, we are looking to select our final contestants by the end of the year, which means we can begin filming by the end of January. Airing in spring of 2007 is our objective." More than 15,000 racing fans applied to be a part of the contestant search by mail and e-mail, and an additional 500 people appeared at the special contestant search promotional events held at the Bank Atlantic Center in Florida on November 16, 2006 and the Greenway Theater in Los Angeles on November 26, 2006. Some hopefuls used all three venues to appeal for a slot on Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge, an innovative reality TV show that places fifteen male and female contestants in the driver's seat as they race and compete for national media exposure, a cash award, a gold championship ring and the opportunity to drive professionally in a sanctioned professional race. Reality Racing, Inc. President Lee F. Schaefer said, "Our new reality show has created an incredible wave of excitement. Between investors, sponsors, members club participants, fans and the more than 15,000 applications we received before the September deadline, we know that as soon as the first season is wrapped up, we will begin the process for Season Two of Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge." Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge promises to be an action-packed, 13-week TV series, and is scheduled to air in 2007. Contestants will be mentored and judged along the way by some of stockcar racing's biggest legends, such as Bobby and Donnie Allison, Cale Yarborough, Rusty Wallace and Junior Johnson.
