Schaefer announced today that the company will hold the final round of the contestant search December 28th and December 29th of this year in Cincinnati, Ohio. This invitation-only event is being held at an undisclosed location and will be the final deciding round in the selection of fifteen contestants for Reality Racing - The Rookie Challenge, scheduled to begin shooting in January for its spring 2007 airdates. Only pre-selected contestants will be invited to the final search event, which will be held at a confidential location to protect the privacy of the final contestants. Over 15,000 racing fans applied to be a part of the show, and an additional 500 people appeared at contestant search events held at the Bank Atlantic Center in Florida on November 16, 2006 and the Greenway Theater in Los Angeles on November 26, 2006. From this group, approximately 200 contestants were selected for the final audition in Cincinnati, Ohio.
