The "zingers of truth" are striking daily: sales are dropping like a stone and Tesla's brand is toxic now. I see the bumper stickers on a good percentage of Tesla's around where we live, where drivers/owners are distancing themselves from Musk and the brand. Few people want anything to do with Musk and his companies. Starlink is losing business, Tesla is losing business, and it wouldn't surprise me if key employees are looking elsewhere, too.

There are some delusional shorts that think Tesla is going to keep going down and they are out in full force today!! What happens when there is some real zinger of truthful news on X about Tesla? Elon does have 200 million followers!!! The shorts just may be caught with their shorts down!!!

Elon Musk will not be the first person who was destroyed because he got in bed with Donald Trump and became blindly loyal to Trump. See e.g., Mike Lindell (My Pillow guy) and Rudy Guiliani. Musk should have stuck to trying to run and build his business empire instead of hitching his wagon to Trump. Instead, he is now one of the most hated men in America, Canada, Europe and elsewhere. He did not need to bring this upon himself and his businesses, but he affirmatively chose to do so.

It could have value as a portable power supply. Toyota makes great cars and resolves its issues - and is 5x more profitable than Tesla while having a tiny fraction of Tesla's market cap. The investment would be in Toyota, not in a CT.

Do you hear yourself? Gasoline is 100 times more energy dense than lithium of equal mass - FACT. Gasoline creates energy at the end use point, while electric to charge a battery needs to be sourced & created first off-site and transferred to the storage compartment through miles of wires. You call that efficient? Did you know that batteries degrade with time even without use? A combustion engine could sit for 100 years and run the same as it did when shut off. Distance and power gets less and less as the electric car ages. A gasoline car could have a cup of gas left in the tank and still provide the same horsepower as a full tank. You can't repair a single failed cell in a lithium battery, you need to replace the entire package that costs $$$$ more than the car is worth. Electric cars do not operate in extreme cold or heat as normal. They are temperature sensitive. A by-product of a combustion engine is heat which is not using power at all to heat the vehicle in cold weather. Air conditioning is also a huge drain on an electric car cutting down travel distance significantly. If you get stuck in traffic on a snowy highway, you have to choose if you want heat or distance, Or stuck in traffic on a hot day using the AC. Not so with a gasoline or diesel car. You get stuck on the highway, from a dead main battery in an electric car - where are you going to get the power to charge it back up? In a gas or diesel car, you just fill the tank again in minutes with fuel and proceed on your way. When a combustion engine cars goes on fire, it gets put out with water easily. Not so with an electric. Water makes it worse. And the electric car creates a hazmat area in the aftermath. Besides the risk of fire in electric cars that can spontaneously explode for no reason into a plasma fire that burns at 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Lithium batteries are already armed bombs just waiting to erupt. Gasoline on the other hand needs two more parts, heat and oxygen to ignite. Basic science 101. You can't disarm a lithium battery once it is assembled. You are very gullible and void of common sense, logic, knowledge and simple physics.
