Rumor has it that GPC is in the process of selling off their office supplies division SP Richards Company. If that is the case, it is great news for the stock. Its the only division that lost money qrt over qrt. GPC is a auto parts reseller, not an a office supplies company. Worst performing sector, Staples and Office Depot are almost junkstock.

I have a close friend who has been an executive for the NAPA division of Genuine Parts for over 20 years so I know this company quite well. This is a very well run company with a stable stock that has paid good dividend for many years. The stock has fallen back into a very interested level lately so I thought I would create this board and see what others think of it.

Negative and positive are both welcome. Respect all opinions please.
