Second Interim Dividend

The Board of Aberdeen Convertible Income Trust PLC has today (15/1/04) declared
a second interim dividend of 0.75p net (2003: 0.75p net) in respect of the year
ending 30 June 2004 which will be paid on 16 February 2004 to holders of
Ordinary shares on the register on 23 January 2004.
