Roumans will be responsible for service delivery, relationship management and ongoing capability enhancement in support of TechTeam's life sciences customers. Roumans has nearly 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry, most recently serving as the life sciences and pharma research and development (R&D) leader for southwest Europe with IBM Global Business Services. In that position, he conducted multiple information management projects assisting global pharmaceutical companies in implementing new technologies and processes within their R&D organizations. His experience includes a variety of management positions in global pharmaceutical clinical development re-engineering, clinical IT system development and implementation, and multinational pharmaceutical market research. Roumans' work within pharmaceutical R&D includes in-depth collaboration with clinical trial sponsors and investigators regarding the organization and implementation of clinical trials.
