bpha 2022/23 Financial Statements

bpha today (16 August 2023) released its financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2023, reporting a strong performance despite the ongoing uncertainty in the economic environment. The core operating business demonstrated a strong and stable financial performance with an underlying operating surplus of GBP55m (2022: GBP62m). Our overall operating margin remained high at 36%.

bpha continued its investment in new affordable homes having built 223 in the year, in addition to investing GBP39m in existing homes. As part of our commitment to ensure our homes are fit for the future and efficient to run for customers 87% of our homes are now at least energy Band C.
